Willy took Jack's hand and locked eyes with him for a long moment.

"You are not mortal," the fae said.

Jack's eyebrows rose and he pulled his hand away. He wasn't used to being caught out like that. At all. But it was clear this man knew and Jack couldn't lie.

"Not for a long time," he said.

"What are you?"

"Just a man. Really...I'm just a man."
