House
Jack couldn't just leave well enough alone. When he had free time, he found himself haunting the hospital, driving past Greg's building, spying on him as he got coffee. He even lo-jacked his bike.
But actually talk to the man? That wasn't in the plan.
He was actually in the hallway outside the clinic when his phone rang. He stopped to look at it, but it was just his boss so he swiped the call away.

"Yeah, well...I got kind of good at calling you on your bullshit," he replied with a tiny huff of a laugh.

Once they were loaded into the rig, Jack pointed them toward House's flat.
"Fine, you know...Just ask me whatever," he offered.

"Probably," he replied. "Or maybe nostalgia."

"I did," he nodded. But he offered nothing more.

"Yes," he again nodded.
Poor Greg. This part was never easy.

"That's by building," he said. "But I guess you knew that." He rubbed his eyes. Why was he tired?

"Yeah, I knew that," he said as he parked. "I've been around. You know. Not stalking you."

"Something like that," he replied. "You need a housekeeper."

"Yeah, I know," he said, moving to the sofa to tidy up a bit of paper and fluff the pillows. "You look exhausted, Greg. Why don't you lay down while we talk?"

"Yeah. Go for it," he offered.

"Sure did," he nodded. "Don't worry, though. You'll wake up refreshed, I promise."

"Well, because the way I mix the chemical compound leaves you feeling alert and not groggy," he explained, completely aware that hadn't been what House meant.

"Because I haven't gotten our reunion right yet. Don't worry, I'll get there. Until then, I get to keep tucking you in," Jack told him.

"This is only the sixth time," he assured him. "And I just want it to go...right. I miss you, Greg."
