Jack couldn't just leave well enough alone. When he had free time, he found himself haunting the hospital, driving past Greg's building, spying on him as he got coffee. He even lo-jacked his bike.

But actually talk to the man? That wasn't in the plan.

He was actually in the hallway outside the clinic when his phone rang. He stopped to look at it, but it was just his boss so he swiped the call away.

"... have I ever put out before you drugged me?" House asked, trying to keep his eyes open.

"Not yet," he smiled.

"If I'm going to forget you might as well kiss me again..."

"It's okay, I'll remember," he said, but then kissed House on the forehead.

House grabbed his hand. "Please don't do this again," he said. "Just let it be what it is. You're interesting. That's enough for me to - " And before he finished the sentence, he was asleep.

Jack tucked the blanket up, then quietly found his way out and locked up behind him.

Next time would go better.
