Fin and Willy

Jack drove to Fin's in the West End, following the man's instructions. The building was beautiful- Jack couldn't fault the architecture of gentrification.
"Here we are," he said, parking next to a powerful black and silver motorcycle. "Lead the way."
His coat billowed as he followed Fin, his posture perfectly straight. This looked less like a hook up and more like a militarty operation as Jack followed Fin to his home.

Jack paid no attention to the fae. He was too busy tasting the man's tongue. He pressed his body to Fin's, his hand sliding around to hold the back of his neck.

Fin's hands seemed unsure of where to be though, hovering in the air.

"I'm going to take the dog out."

"Right," he said. "Well...thanks for having dinner wit me, Finlay. I'll find my way home."

Willy moved, too, offering Jack a slip of paper.
"This is his number. Perhaps in a few days you should call him," the fae said. "And I will speak with him when he comes home."
"Look, I'm not here to step on anyone. I was just looking for a good..."
"Call him," Willy said, magic carrying the words this time.
Jack nodded. He slipped on his coat and studied the number for a long moment, then when he was sure Fin was gone...he walked out.

Date: 2015-04-11 11:12 pm (UTC)"Well I changed my mind. I don't want to," Fin said quietly. "Can we not talk about this? I don't want to talk about this, Will."

Date: 2015-04-11 11:16 pm (UTC)"I only wish for you to be happy, precious," Willy said. He paused and then asked, "Was it that you didn't want him...or you didn't want me?"

Date: 2015-04-11 11:31 pm (UTC)"I always want you. Never think I don't want you," Fin said, sounding a bit like he was scolding the fae for thinking otherwise.
"I just- I'm worried I'll upset you, or shock you- Or that you wont want me any more after seeing me with someone else, alright?"

Date: 2015-04-11 11:34 pm (UTC)Willy looked at him curiously for a long moment, his green eyes shining and inquisitive.
"I will always want you, evermore," he said. "Would you prefer to take a lover privately? Without me?"

Date: 2015-04-11 11:38 pm (UTC)"No- No, I wouldn't do that to you," Fin said quietly. "Look, let's just forget about it. Everything's fine the way it is, okay?"

Date: 2015-04-11 11:42 pm (UTC)Willy reached out and lightly touched his cheek.
"No," he said. He looked at Fin for a moment and smiled sadly. "You are not happy. Everything is not fine."

Date: 2015-04-11 11:51 pm (UTC)"You would like some freedom?" Willy asked. "I do everything you ask, Fin. A wish but needs words and it is yours. Do you wish to...explore alone?" he asked softly.

Date: 2015-04-11 11:56 pm (UTC)"No. ...I mean, I dunno, Will. Maybe a bit. But I still want you. I love you," Fin insisted.

Date: 2015-04-12 12:02 am (UTC)"Finlay, my most precious," Willy said softly. "I love you as well. But if you want it you must wish it..."
no subject
Date: 2015-04-12 12:09 am (UTC)"Why?" Fin snapped. "Why should I 'wish it'? I'm your partner, not your mortal. I don't want my wishes to be granted, Will. If this is happening, then I want us to talk about this like actual people."

Date: 2015-04-12 12:13 am (UTC)Willy was silent then for a moment, tilting his head to one side, then back.
"I will withdraw my stipulation to be with you if you choose someone new if...if you will..."
He had to stop and swallow hard.
"If you will...if it is only sex. If you fall in love with another, Fin, I will surely die."

Date: 2015-04-12 12:16 am (UTC)"That's not fair," Fin argued. "God, that's so not fair. Like I could stop myself from falling in love if it happened."
He looked visibly upset then, rubbing his face and closing his eyes. "Just forget it. I wont, okay? I wont."
Brushing past Willy, he headed into the bedroom and shut the door, ending the conversation abruptly.

Date: 2015-04-12 12:21 am (UTC)Fin's upset touched Willy with a pain that made his very skin burn. The young man left the room and Willy looked at the closed door. It may as well have been a vast chasm for how far he felt from his love. He tipped and lay down on the sofa, a mighty prince brought low by fate.
He realized then in a way he'd never realized before that no matter what, good or ill, Fin was going to bring his death. He understood then why his mother hated the mortal.
