Logan

It had been days and Jack had been keeping track of Logan. The young man had no money, no access to his accounts, no key card to the penthouse, no car, no resources, and he didn't even know how to use his phone. But Jack knew and while he gave Logan time he watched him on CCTV to make sure he was safe. Relatively.

But days had passed and he knew Logan had to be hungry, had to be exhausted trying to be homeless on the streets of London, and when he saw a dispatch for police to Logan's location Jack bolted to the SUV and he got there just as the police arrived.

"Torchwood," he said, flashing his ID. "I'll handle it."

A little voice inside his head told him this was a bad idea. That Jack couldn't love him. No one loved him. ...But the kiss felt so right, and even though he was certain he couldn't be happy, that he couldn't be cared for- He wanted to be. He wanted this to be as real as it felt.

He pushed the other man a little, but not hard enough to actually shove him away- Not enough to stop him from kissing him again.

For a reason he couldn't understand, a reason not tied to any concrete memory, hearing Logan tell him to shut up shot straight to his cock. Instead he got to his feet and peeled off his shirt, giving Jack a look that asked if he was coming, before turning away and slipping into the bedroom.

Jack left his coat behind and followed a moment later, slipping his braces off his shoulders and undoing the top buttons of his shirt. His attraction to Logan was almost beyond reason.

"You're beautiful," he said, eyes raking over Logan's body.

"Bullshit," Logan snorted, sitting down on the edge of the bed and clearly not sure what to do.

"Don't be nice, Harkness. I don't know what to do with nice."

"What am I supposed to do? Slap you around?" Jack chuckled, peeling his own shirt away. He was flawless, not terribly toned but in fine shape. There were no scars, no wrinkles, no blemishes. Jack walked up to Logan and put a hand on his chest and pushed him down onto the bed.

"I don't want to be mean. There's too much cruelty in the world."

Logan snorted a little, but didn't argue. Instead he fell back against the mattress and stretched out a little.

"I just don't know what to do with a nice version of you," Logan admitted. "It's weird."

And it felt dishonest. Like maybe he didn't deserve to be liked by this man.

"You met me at a weird time in my life," Jack said. "I'd just died. The first time."

He bent over him and began to explore Logan's body, learning the shape of it with his lips. Teeth raked over skin and while he was caring he was hardly gentle.

Logan was aroused and eager, but his guilt was heavy, and he pushed Jack back.

"And you met me when I was someone else completely," he replied. "You don't even know me. ...I don't know you. Not this version anyway."

Jack had never forced himself on anyone and he wasn't about to start now. It was London...there were dozens of people he could pick up if he needed sex that bad. But he didn't just want sex. He wanted Logan.

And...Logan had a point.

"Maybe we should get to know each other first, then," he said, even as his rigid cock pressed into Logan's thigh.

"How old are you? When I knew you, you were- I dunno, like thirties or something, I think. I don't think you ever gave me a straight answer."

Jack moved off him then and settled in beside him on the bed. He took a deep breath and exhaled.

"About two thousand and seventy five, give or take," he replied.

Logan was silent for a long moment, taking that in and trying to fully process just how big an age difference that was.

"So... You're not a dirty old man. You're, like, full on super perv, huh?" he said finally, trying to make light of it.

"I guess so, yeah," he replied, realizing it was a lot to take in. He'd never even told Ianto how old he really was. Only Torchwood knew and he didn't even know if anyone looked at his file anymore.

"Too old?" he asked.

"You don't look old. I mean- You don't look that old. I don't know. I mean, am I too young?" he asked. "I figure you get past a thousand and it doesn't matter anymore. That's not an age gap, that's something totally different. Not in, like, a bad way, just- Different."

"You're not too young," Jack replied. He twisted to face Logan and touched him with a slow hand.

"For the record, for nineteen hundred of those years I was buried alive so it's not like..." he said, but cut himself off, realizing there was no real justification in the morbid confession.

"Jesus," Logan said, pulling away slightly. "So it's not like what? You lived? I don't think that's better Jack."

That kind of thing... It had to make a person just a little out of touch. A bit mad.

Eventually he relaxed again, looking a bit unsure of himself as his finger's brushed against Jack's.

Jack slowly laced his fingers with Logan's.

"It was penance," he said. "Penance for a terrible mistake I make when I was a boy. I think you're right...it's not really better. It just...is."

Logan fell silent at that, not sure what to say to that. His Jack had never told him anything like that. ...Then again, they tended to throw punches rather than chat.

"This is a fucked up mess, huh?" he said finally.

"Kind of, but nothing we can't survive. I've been through a lot of really weird things, Logan. This isn't so bad," he assured him.

Logan glanced over, then nodded a little, studying Jack's profile before leaning in and pressing a soft kiss just below his ear.

"Jerk," he whispered, before pulling Jack down to lay with him on the bed.

"I'm exhausted," he confessed.

The frenzy of desire had ebbed and Jack moved to get up.

"You should get some sleep," he said. "I'll hang the do not disturb on the door and you can sleep as long as you want."

"Okay, but- Come back after," Logan insisted, starting to strip out of the last of his clothes, until he was stark naked. After being on the island so long, he wasn't too bashful about being totally bare.
